How to Restore & Protect Copper from Tarnish
Beautiful Copper Made Easy

Copper is a fantastic way to add character and beauty to your property, inside and out. You love the warm glow of the metal on your home. Unfortunately, copper tarnishes and fades, but polishing over and over again is impractical. Our coatings can save your copper surfaces and make them look brand new again. For outdoor surfaces, use our Everbrite coating as it has UV blockers to protect from sun damage and weathering. For indoor and high touch, we recommend our ProtectaClear or CrobialCoat, as these coatings are more scratch-resistant. Our CrobialCoat, with Microban technology, will simultaneously reduce the spread of microbes while protecting the metal as well.

Use on copper roofs, gutters, weathervanes, cupolas, and even indoors on sinks, backsplashes, counters, kitchen hoods and more— Everbrite will protect it all.

FLAMED COPPER
Everbrite will protect the colors of art or architectural flamed or flame painted copper. For copper that gets a lot of handling like jewelry, ProtectaClear is recommended because it is tougher and more scratch-resistant.
DIRECTIONS

1. If you want to protect your copper while it is still new and shiny, clean any oil or other contaminants from the metal. This can be done by simply wiping the metal with a solvent cleaner like xylene or denatured alcohol which can be purchased at most hardware or paint stores. The solvents will not remove tarnish, patina or dark fingerprints. These will need to be polished off of the surface. ***TIP: Use gloves to handle new copper before it is sealed or you can end up with dark fingerprints on the copper.

2. Once the metal is clean, Everbrite™, ProtectaClear®, or CrobialCoat® can be applied by several methods. It can be sprayed on or wiped on the surface with clear-coat applicators, fine brushes, poly-sponge brushes or a pad of lint-free white cloth. Let it dry and enjoy your beautiful copper weather vane, cupola, finial, copper gutters, copper rain chains, wind chimes and more!
